Father's Day to the Rescue

Happy Father's Day Everyone!

I just wrapped up my father's day gift and made a card. I don't believe in buying cards. The way I see it, all occasions that require a card are just another reason to get crafty! Usually my gifts consist of something small but meaningful- my dad isn't the kind of guy who wants me to spend a kajillion dollars on him!

Once in a blue moon, after an exceptionally stressful week, lots of errands and many things to do- these holidays can be forgotten. Sometimes, its impossible to figure out what gift to give! For those of you who are in a pickle, I have for you- Father's Day to the Rescue!

Give Dad the smallest toolbox he's ever seen! via Absolutely Not Martha

A goodie basket made of jean. Fill it with books, dad's favorite candy, and small trinkets that your dad needs!

For the rough and tough, car lovin' dad is the Car Nut Frame.

Printable Father's Day Coupon! This one is printable but I remember for a Father's Day when I was a kid I made my dad various coupons that said Expiration Date: Never. Some of the coupons included "One Free Hug", "Will take garbage out free of charge" etc. My dad still has mine saved!

Lottery, scratch off Father's Day Card. Sooo adorable!

Hope this helps those of you in your Father's Day gift giving crisis. A few years ago when I was little I would go in my dad's room and wrap up one of the ties hanging in his closet and re-gift it to him. He still loves me. So just remember...it's the thought that counts!!!
